Emery Blagdon was born on a farm in Lincoln County, Nebraska in 1907. In the early 1950s he inherited a farm, about 20 miles northeast of North Platte, Nebraska, from an uncle. He created his healing machine work there, and he died of cancer in 1985 at 78.
