Im 19 and my father helped me buy a car for $2300. I have never missed a payment but he repossed the car and says hes keeping all of the $1000 I have already payed. I don't have a written contract so he says I have no rights. Am I screwed?

You have a problem - and it may not be related to the car purchase. Talk to your father and see what the underlying problem might be. Solve that problem and get a written contract. Good luck.
