Just recieved a letter from a lawyer with a copy of a court judgement dated August 2000.from GMC financial group. Is this inforceable after 12 years of no contact?
Answer
A judgment entered in a Florida court is enforceable for 20 years. The fact that the creditor has not tried to contract you in 12 years is irrelevant.
