Very probably. If you have a written employment agreement or were given an employee policy manual that should give some insight. I tend to doubt that your employer wants you to conduct private business while "on the clock". And the best answer: Just ask your employer, telling him or her that you have no desire whatsoever to do anything wrong.... that you like and want to do what is right by your job.
