How do you adjust carb on 1100 mini?
Depending on year and carburetor model there are three or four things that are easy to fiddle with that change how it runs.Idle speed, adjusted on most beside where the throttle cable attaches. The damper. This is to keep the car from "Bogging" or cutting out when you accelerate. It is supposed to have oil in it, there is special oil but I used to use engine oil. Undo the black cap on the top of the carb and add oil, it will self level when the car runs.Idle mixture A screw going into the body of the carb that changes the mixture at idle, adjust until max rpm is achieved using a Tachometer. Then re-set idle speed. Finally the mixture needle height. This is an adjustment that could damage your engine, please consult a proper manual before attempting.
