My landlord failed to pay for association fees, I paid the association the rent for May 2013 as required by law, now we are moving out by June 15th and we paid at the start of our lease First and Last months rent. Do we still have to pay the association for June? Do we lose our money? we needed for the new rental.

Advise them that you paid the last month to the landlord at the beginning of the lease and provide them a copy of the lease. You should not have to pay that month that you already paid. You don't just lose your money.
