Question

The executor of my Grandma's estate is threatening to let the house go into foreclosure if we (beneficiaries) do not sign a paper stating that money is owed to her mother (my grandma's sister) do I have enough evidence to file a petition and have her removed. Can I do this on my own? I am trustee sucessor.

Answer

Yes, you can petition to have her removed for abusing her authority as Executor. You will do better to have an attorney assist you. Look on Law Guru for one in your area that does Probate.

Answer

You should definitely consult with an attorney who can review all of the relevant facts and documents. Favoring one beneficiary over others can be good cause for removal.

Answer

That is most definitely grounds for removal. Don't try to do it yourself.
