What happens in a Chapter 13 Bankruptsy when a car is totalled. The bankruptsy was filed two years ago and they show no bankruptsy and have received no payments. The trustee said they did not file the proper paperwork on their end. They do not know the car is totaled. Is there anyway for me to receive the insurance money?
