I have been a resident at my grandmothers home for 8 years. My grandmother died. My mother and my aunt are telling me I have to leave. What are my rights?

Depends in part on the arrangements you had with your grandma. Most likely you have a month-to-month tenancy, but with the right evidence a year-to-year, which could give you more time. Either way, the 'next in line' to the ownership of the house is entitled to take legal action: that would be the trustee if title was in a trust, or executor if there was a will, or administrator if there was no will (or trust). So your mom and aunt need to fork over some important papers; for all you know your grandmother left the house to you!!!! Time to hire an attorney to help get to the bottom of it. But beware of 1 thing: being a tenant on the one hand, and potentially inheriting the house on the other, are very possibly completely separate legal issues, and while it may not be a nice thing to think about it is possible you may not be allowed to live there until the inheritance is confirmed in a probate court!..... Again, without more info, time to see a lawyer to help you get it figured out.
