What are the pros and cons of cars?

What are the pros and cons of cars?
The pros to cars would have to be the time saved from walking, not to mention it is one of the cheapest ways to travel, besides bus, biking, or walking. Plus, I wouldn't want to walk a far distance in the winter seasons. The cons would have to be the danger of crashing, the price of gas these days, and the fact that without insurance, the car would cost a lot to get repaired.
