1st of all the word buried is misspelled.... how did Helen Miller live out her life?
She spent most of it quietly raising her children and staying in the background of Glenn Miller Productions and the Glenn Miller Estate, which ran the band and handled all business transactions surrounding the music. She died in relative obscurity in 1966.
An interview with Miller's biographer George T. Simon, who remained a friend of Helen Miller, confirmed the heartbreaking story that she kept his bed made and clothing ready in case he ever would miraculously show up.
