If i came into some money during a divorce , do i have to give half to the husband if i already filed for a divorce .
Answer
It depends on how the funds were acquired. If it was an inheritance or personal injury settlement it would be considered separate property. But, it is wage income or even lottery winnings, that is community property that would be divided in the Divorce.
