If someone was driving my car and got busted how do I get my car back from the police. And can they tell me ( Tell me what I want to know and I'll give you your car back ). Im asking for a friend , trying to help her get her car back.

If the police will not simply release her car, they may be planning to file on it for forfeiture. Whether or not that is the plan, she should hire a lawyer to contact police about getting the car. She will need to have proof of ownership - the title.
