Question

My son is 20. He has a minor in consumption and false information on his ticket. will this go off his record when he turns 21. We live in Minnesota.

Answer

Once convicted, court records may last forever. If he has not pled guilty or been convicted, he can go to court and fight the charges. I would especially want to avoid the false information crime.

Answer

If he is convicted, it is a permanent record. That is the precisie reason why such charges should be vigorously defended. In many instances, on a first offense any record can be avoided with a Stay of Prosecution.
