My husband is not a well individual and after being hospitalized, was sent to rehab recovery. My husband is not able to care for himself and since I'm 73 myself, I don't want the responsibility. Can I be free of his responsibility with a legal separation or do I need a divorce to be free?

I believe you would have to be divorced. Otherwise, if you are separated you could be responsible for his medical bills.
