I have had legal and physical sole custody of my child since she was born ten years ago. The biological father has never once tried to contact or pursue a relationship with my child. Do I need to notify him that I am moving out of state soon for work?

If you have a court order giving you legal and physical custody, then you need a court order allowing you to leave.
