Question

If paternity has never been established. Once it has can the parent who has custody go back for all the years of the childs life to collect child support.

Answer

You can go back 4 years.

Answer

Frans advise is usually right on, but here there is a difference. Retroactive child support for four years is presumed to be reasonable and in the best interest of the child, but the court can go back to the birth of the child and even order payment for costs of the birth. To go back past four years would take putting on specific evidence.
