Im in process of a divorce the judge told me it was a bad idea to be living with my girlfriend. I have three children that i have temporary full custody. My soon to be ex has been doing meth and wasn't getting children to school. While I was working. I also have a restraining order on her from contacting kids or myself. She hasn't done her hair analysis yet . I jus want to know how bad it will hurt my chances of custody if my girlfriend lives with me. The guardian af litem will be checking on me soon
Answer
The answer depends on how your girlfriend is affecting the children. It can be very confusing for children going through a divorce. Adding in a live in girlfriend complicates things significantly. You would be wise to wait until the divorce is final.
