Can they charge me with a misdeameanor of stealing 2 end tables when in reality I didn't know they didnt belong to my Landlord whom I manage his Apt. Complex; I gave them to a tenant for free from the kindness of my heart?
Answer
Anyone can be charged with anything. It all depends on the circumstances. If it appears that the end tables were abandoned, then you would not be guilty of a crime.
