can I get back jewlery that was stolen from me and given to someone else as a gift? how? and what should I do first?
Answer
First you would file a police report if you haven't already. The police then make recommendations to the prosecutor whether to proceed criminally against the alleged thief. Restitution would be ordered as part of a criminal case. And/or you could consult a civil litigation attorney to see if you a good chance at a civil suit. Good luck!
