In the united states the correct way to write and address is :


House number, followed by any directional aberviation followed by street name
then city name, state and Zip code

EXAMPLE:

1234 S Anystreet
Anytown, NY 98945

If you are sending to somewhere such as apt # or suite # you put that information on the same line as the house number, after the street name.
