I had a judgment against me in a lawsuit from an unpaid medical bill. I wanted to know if they can take part of my check, I make $800 a month ($670 after taxes)? I also wanted to know if they can take money from my bank account, I have a joint bank account with my mother. I wasn't sure if they could take money from there since my mother's name is also on the account.
