Is it legal for the landlord to demand that my boyfriend fill out an application to provide ssn, drivers license #, etc all because he stays 2 nights a week at my apt? She is wanting to do a background check, credit check, criminal check, residential verification and job verification.

In Illinois leases define the rights of the parties for the most part. Some leases allow overnight guests within certain parameters. It would be wise for you to have an attorney review your lease.
