How do you built things in MinecrafSP?
To build in minecraft SP you need to on your first day "kill Trees" trees give wood what is used for a crafting table and used to make wooden weapons and tools for use for mining and farming ..etc... just farm wood and google "minecraft item combos"
that should link you to a wiki page full of all the item combos and also how to get the items needed
