We have a 2002 beetle the turn signals don't work sometimes the drivers side front and rear blink once Could it be a bad bulb somewhere?
More than likely it is a loose connection or short somewhere in the wiring. It wouldn't hurt to check all the bulbs and fuses and replace what's needed. If the problem persists, any mechanic can check the wiring for you.
