I would like to know which state would be best to file for divorce, Florida or Michigan? Kids are grown. So I would like to limit how long I would have to pay my wife alimony. Planning to move to Florida in a couple of months.

If you want to file for divorce now, you have to file in Michigan. You don't have the option to file in Florida.
