We are being sued in New Mexico, law suits are false , We have pretty good evidence to support our case(including private investigator) what can we do about these lies, other than civil?

I've always found a punch in the nose to be pretty effective, but of course as a lawyer I would never advise you to do that.
Otherwise, I don't think there is a criminal remedy for filing a law suit containing false claims. What's wrong with civil?
